I led a team of 7 to create an Amazon Kindle Review
website for my school's Database and Big Data module.
For this project, I mainly focused on team management
as well as front-end design and implementation.
Relatively speaking, the goals and process for this
project was straight forward. The main things I have
learnt from this project was how to manage and
coordinate the different parts of the group
(automation, data analytics, databases), to distribute
workload evenly, and come up with a single solution
that matches our goals.
This project allowed me to gain experience in handling
and understanding the pros/cons of the different types
of database types like MySQL and NoSQL, while
understanding how they all fit into the bigger picture
to deliver a fully working solution.
Note: In the pictures/videos below, the
books/information is incomplete as all these were
taken after the project was completed and databases
shut down.
